من بلادٍ كانت تُكتب بالحبر فوق ماء دجلة، خرجت امرأة قررت أن تكتب بالحجر فوق سماء لندن.
From a land where words were written in ink upon the waters of the Tigris, arose a woman who chose to write with stone upon the sky of London.
وُلدت في بغداد، مدينة الأبواب والأسوار والأنهار… وقررت أن لا ترسم بابًا واحدًا بعد اليوم.
Born in Baghdad, a city of gates, walls, and rivers… she chose never to draw a single door again.
لم تؤمن أن الجدار يجب أن يُغلق… بل يجب أن ينحني حتى يسمح للريح بالدخول.
She did not believe that the wall should close… but that it should bend to allow the wind to enter.
لم تكن مجرد مهندسة… بل كانت عاصفة هندسية تحمل أنوثتها كسلاح فلسفي.
She was not merely an architect… but an architectural storm wielding her femininity as a philosophical weapon.

قالوا لها: "المعماري لا يرسم منحنى إلا إذا برره الحساب."
They told her: “An architect must not draw a curve unless structure justifies it.”
فأجابت: "ومن قال إن القلب يحتاج مبرّرًا ليخفق؟"
She replied: “And who said the heart needs justification to beat?”
 
مثل موجة من الفرات خرجت، ومثل ريح من لندن عادت… تحمل بينهما جسرًا من المعادلات الانسيابية.
She rose like a wave of the Euphrates, and returned like a London wind… carrying between the two a bridge of fluid equations.
لم تحفر في الأرض كما فعل المعماريون قبله، بل حفرت في الوعي، حتى أصبح الحائط يُفكّر قبل أن يُبنى.
She did not excavate the earth like architects before her; she excavated awareness, until the wall began to think before being built.
 
✦ المعادلة التي قلبت المدرسة✦ 
في كلية الهندسة، كانوا يقولون لها: الخط المستقيم هو الطريق الأقصر.
In architecture school, they told her: the straight line is the shortest path.
فقالت: نعم… لكنه ليس الأجمل، وليس الأكثر صدقًا مع حركة الجسد.
She responded: Yes… but it is not the most beautiful, nor the most truthful to the movement of the body.
كانوا يؤمنون أن الجاذبية حدّ، وكانت تراها اقتراحًا يمكن التفاوض معه.
They believed gravity was a boundary; she saw it as a proposal open for negotiation.
