When I read Frank Lloyd Wright, I am not merely reading the history of an architect.

I read the story of a man who wanted to redefine the relationship between humanity and place.

Wright was born in 1867.

And lived until 1959.

His lifetime therefore crossed an enormous architectural era.

He watched America change.
