“ملحمة الحج” عملٌ أدبي–روحي،
“The Epic of Hajj” is a literary–spiritual work,
يقرأ الشعيرة لا بوصفها حدثًا،
that reads the rite not as an event,
بل كمسارٍ للتحوّل.
but as a path of transformation.
 
كل فصل يمثّل مقامًا،
Each chapter represents a spiritual station,
وكل مقام يُعرّي طبقة من الإنسان.
and each station strips away a layer of the human.
 
من النداء الأول،
From the first call,
إلى الإحرام،
to Ihram,
إلى الدوران حول مركزٍ واحد،
to orbiting a single center,
إلى السعي والوقوف والصمت والمواجهة،
to striving, standing, silence, and confrontation,
ثم العودة إلى العالم…
then returning to the world…
وهو أصعب المناسك.
which is the hardest rite.
 
الكتاب لا يَعِد القارئ بالطمأنينة،
The book does not promise comfort,
بل بالصدق.
but truth.
ومن صدق، تغيّر.
Whoever is truthful, changes.
 
“ملحمة الحج” ليست حكاية مكان،
“The Epic of Hajj” is not a story of a place,
بل حكاية تحوّل.
but a story of transformation.
تتتبّع رحلة الحاج من النداء،
It traces the pilgrim’s journey from the Call,
إلى الإحرام،
to Ihram,
إلى الدوران،
to orbiting,
إلى السعي،
to striving,
إلى الوقوف،
to standing,
إلى الصمت،
to silence,
إلى المواجهة،
to confrontation,
إلى الفداء،
to sacrifice,
ثم إلى العودة…
then to return…
لا كما كان،
not as he was,
بل كما يجب أن يكون.
but as he ought to be.
 
الكتاب لا يشرح الحج،
The book does not explain Hajj,
بل يُصغي إليه.
it listens to it.
ويترك للقارئ أن يُكمِل الرحلة بنفسه.
And leaves the reader to complete the journey on his own.
