This book is not a conventional biography of a revolutionary leader,
ولا دراسة سياسية لحقبة مضطربة،
nor a political study of a turbulent era,
بل هو ملحمة فلسفية شعرية،
but a philosophical and poetic epic,
تُعيد صياغة علاقة الإنسان بالسلطة،
reframing man’s relationship with power,
وعلاقة الثورة بالروح،
and the revolution’s relationship with the soul,
وعلاقة البحر بالمئذنة التي ظهرت في قلب هافانا.
and the sea’s relationship with the minaret that appeared in the heart of Havana.
كتبتُها من موقع الشاهد، لا المؤرّخ.
