The Epic of Jesus Prophet and the Divine Light

إلى الروح الأولى التي قالت «كُن»،
To the First Spirit that said “Be,”
 
فكان الوجود مرآةً تُطلّ فيها عينا الله على ذاته.
And existence became a mirror through which God gazed upon Himself.
 
إلى الإنسان، الذي يمشي بين الموت والحلم،
To man, who walks between death and dream,
 
يحمل في يده طينًا وفي صدره سماء.
Carrying in his hand clay and in his chest heaven.
 
إلى كلّ من أحبّ رغم الخوف،
To all who loved despite fear,
 
وسامح رغم الكسر،
And forgave despite fracture,
 
وبنى رغم الرماد.
And built amidst the ashes.
 
قال ابن عربي: "قلب العارف بيتٌ لله، من دخله كان آمنًا."
*Ibn Arabi said: “The heart of the gnostic is a house for God; whoever enters it is safe.”*
 
المقدمة
Introduction
 
الكون معبدٌ واسع من نورٍ وحجر،
The universe is a vast temple of light and stone,
 
وفي كل لبنةٍ منه آية، وفي كل نافذةٍ حديث، وفي كل قوسٍ سرٌّ من الله.
In every brick there is a verse, in every window a hadith, and in every arch a secret of God.
 
منذ آدم الذي نفخ الله فيه الروح، إلى عيسى الذي نفخها في القلوب،
From Adam, into whom God breathed the spirit, to Jesus who breathed it into hearts,
 
يمتدُّ خطٌّ معماريٌّ واحدٌ يرسم خريطة الوجود،
A single architectural line stretches, drawing the map of existence,
 
خطٌّ من نورٍ يشقُّ التاريخ كما تشقُّ المنارةُ ظلامَ البحر.
A line of light cleaving history as a minaret cleaves the sea of night.
 
﴿فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ﴾ (يس: 83)
*“So exalted is He in whose hand is the dominion of all things.”* (36:83)
