تفتحه الرياح وتقلب صفحاته الأمواج
opened by the winds and turned by the waves.
الأوديسة ليست حكاية سفر،
The Odyssey is not a tale of travel,
بل مرآة للإنسان وهو يعبر محيط قلبه.
but a mirror of man as he sails across the ocean of his heart.
أوديسيوس لم يكن بطلًا فقط
Odysseus was not only a hero
بل صورة لكل إنسان يعود إلى بيته بعد أن يضيّعه العالم
but an image of every human returning home after the world has 
lost him.
 
إلى كل غريب تاه في بحار الغربة،
To every stranger lost in seas of exile,
إلى كل قلب يفتّش عن مرفأ في العاصفة،
To every heart searching for a harbor in the storm,
إلى الذين عرفوا أن الحنين أقوى من الأمواج،
To those who knew that longing is stronger than waves,
وأن البيت ليس جدرانًا بل وجوهًا نحبّها.
And that home is not walls but the faces we love.

تسرد رحلة أوديسيوس بعد حرب طروادة، وهو يواجه غضب الآلهة، والبحار الغاضبة، والكائنات الغريبة، ليعود إلى إيثاكا.
