NEW SYRIA… BUILT FROM LIGHT, NOT CLAY

ليس الخراب نهاية الحكاية.Destruction is not the end.

بل الصفحة الأولى للغد.It is the first page of tomorrow.

هناك أمم تعود كما كانت.Some nations return unchanged.

لكن سوريا ليست منها.But Syria is not one of them.

حين تنهض سوريا من جديد.When Syria rises again.

تعود أكثر جمالًا ونضجًا.She returns wiser and more beautiful.

فالجمال هنا ليس مصادفة.Beauty here is no accident.

بل جزء من هوية الناس.It is part of identity.

في كل حجرٍ حكاية.Every stone holds a story.

وفي كل قوسٍ ذاكرة.Every arch carries memory.

وفي كل سوقٍ نبض.Every market carries life.

وحين تسقط الجدران يومًا.And when walls eventually fall.

لا تسقط الحكايات معها.The stories do not fall.

بل تولد بصيغة جديدة.They are reborn anew.

نحن لا نرقع الماضي.We do not patch the past.

بل نحاوره باحترام.We converse with it respectfully.

ثم نبني فوق دروسه.Then build upon its lessons.

في قلب الأزمات الكبرى.Within great crises.

يولد الإبداع الحقيقي.True creativity is born.

ومن تحت الركام أحيانًا.From beneath rubble sometimes.

تولد أجمل الأفكار.The finest ideas emerge.

يجتمع المعماريون السوريون اليوم.Syrian architects gather today.

داخل الوطن وخارجه.Inside and beyond the homeland.

يحملون أكثر من مخططات.Carrying more than plans.

يحملون رؤى للمستقبل.They carry visions.

نعيد بناء حلب القديمة.We rebuild Old Aleppo.

لكننا نحفظ روحها.Yet preserve its soul.

ونرمم بيوت دمشق العتيقة.We restore Damascene homes.

لكننا نفتح نوافذها للغد.While opening them to tomorrow.

ونبني مدارس جديدة.We build new schools.

مليئة بالشمس والألوان.Filled with sunlight and color.

ومساحات الحرية واللعب.And spaces for freedom.

العمارة السورية لا تتكرر.Syrian architecture never repeats.

إنها تتجدد باستمرار.It continually renews itself.

قبل آلاف السنين.Thousands of years ago.

وُلدت الأبجدية هنا.The alphabet was born here.

واليوم تولد لغة جديدة.Today a new language emerges.

لغة معمارية للمستقبل.An architecture for tomorrow.

مبانٍ تتنفس الضوء.Buildings that breathe light.

وأسطح تنبت بالخضرة.Roofs growing with greenery.

وأحياء خُلقت للناس.Neighborhoods designed for people.

لا للمركبات وحدها.Not vehicles alone.

وساحات للفن والحياة.Squares for art and life.

لا للخوف والعزلة.Not fear and isolation.

نريد مدنًا تشبه أحلام الأطفال.We want cities like children's dreams.

لا مدنًا تشبه الخوف.Not cities shaped by fear.

في سوريا كان الجمال ضرورة.In Syria beauty was necessity.

ولم يكن رفاهية يومًا.Never a luxury.

زرعنا الرمان قرب البيوت.We planted pomegranates near homes.

وزرعنا الياسمين فوق الجدران.And jasmine upon walls.

وجعلنا الشعر جارًا للعمارة.Poetry lived beside architecture.

والفن شريكًا للحياة.And art beside life.

واليوم نزرع الأمل مجددًا.Today we plant hope again.

شجرة زيتون أمام كل بيت.An olive tree before every home.

ومساحة للرسم لكل طفل.A space for every child.

وجامعات تنظر للأمام.Universities looking forward.

التفاؤل ليس رفاهية.Optimism is not luxury.

بل استراتيجية للبناء.It is a strategy.

أعظم مواردنا ليست النفط.Our greatest resource is not oil.

ولا المال وحده.Nor money alone.

بل الإنسان السوري.It is the Syrian person.

الحرفي المبدع.The gifted craftsman.

والمهندسة الحالمة.The dreaming engineer.

والمعلم الصابر.The patient teacher.

والمعمار الذي يتخيل.The architect who imagines.

سوريا الغد ليست أطلالًا.Tomorrow's Syria is not ruins.

بل مسرحٌ للدهشة.It is a stage of wonder.

وليست نسخةً من الماضي.Nor a copy of the past.

بل امتدادٌ للممكن.But an extension of possibility.

وطنٌ يتذكر ألمه.A homeland remembering pain.

لكنه لا يسكن فيه.Yet not living inside it.

وطنٌ يعيد اختراع الحياة.A homeland reinventing life.

وطنٌ يليق بأبنائه.A homeland worthy of its people.

سوريا لا تنتظر البكاء.Syria awaits no tears.

بل تنتظر الإبداع.She awaits creativity.

وكل حجر يُرفع.Every stone lifted.

هو حجرٌ في جدار الأمل.Becomes a stone of hope.

وكل نافذة تُفتح.Every window opened.

هي نافذة على العالم.Becomes a window to the world.

لن نعيد سوريا كما كانت.We will not recreate Syria.

بل سنصنع ما هو أجمل.We will create something greater.

وسنبني وطنًا جديدًا.We will build a new homeland.

يتسع لكل أحلامنا القادمة.Wide enough for every future dream.
