في الخامس من تموز نحتفل بالعقول.On the fifth of July, we celebrate minds.

نحتفل بمن يرسم الأفق.We celebrate those drawing horizons.

وبمن يمنح الأرض معنى.And those giving land meaning.

وبمن يحوّل الحلم واقعًا.And turning dreams into reality.

إنه عيد المهندس العربي.It is Arab Engineers Day.

وفي سوريا يحمل معنى أعمق.In Syria, it carries deeper meaning.

ففيه يصبح الحنين مشروعًا.Longing becomes a project.

ويصبح الأمل مادةً للبناء.Hope becomes construction material.

المهندس ليس موظفًا عاديًا.An engineer is not ordinary.

وليس صاحب مخططات فقط.Nor merely a drafter.

إنه صانع احتمالات جديدة.He creates new possibilities.

ومهندس للمستقبل الإنساني.An architect of human futures.

إنه يتعامل مع الزمن.He works with time itself.

كما يتعامل مع الحجر.As he works with stone.

يشكله بحكمة وصبر.Shaping it through patience.

ويمنحه صورةً للحياة.Giving it form and life.

المهندس شاعر المادة الخام.The engineer is raw material's poet.

يرى ما لا يراه الآخرون.He sees the unseen.

يرى مدينةً داخل الفراغ.A city within emptiness.

ويرى مدرسةً داخل الحلم.A school within dreams.

ويرى مستشفى داخل الألم.A hospital within suffering.

ويرى وطنًا داخل الخطوط.A homeland within lines.

كل جدار يحمل رسالة.Every wall carries a message.

وكل نافذة تحمل وعدًا.Every window carries a promise.

وكل سقف يحمل أمانًا.Every roof carries safety.

فالهندسة ليست مهنة فقط.Engineering is not merely work.

إنها طريقة لرؤية العالم.It is a way of seeing.

طريقة لفهم الإنسان.A way of understanding humanity.

وطريقة لبناء الكرامة.And building dignity.

الهندسة ليست مسطرة وحسابات.Engineering is not calculations alone.

وليست خرسانة وحديدًا فقط.Nor concrete and steel alone.

إنها فلسفة حياة كاملة.It is a philosophy of life.

أن تزرع نافذةً في الظلام.To place a window in darkness.

أن تخلق أملًا من الركام.To create hope from rubble.

أن تصنع جمالًا من الحاجة.To create beauty from need.

في سوريا اليوم تحديدًا.Especially in Syria today.

يعود المهندس إلى دوره.The engineer returns to purpose.

ليس لإعمار الحجر فقط.Not only rebuilding stone.

بل لإعمار الإنسان أيضًا.But rebuilding humanity too.

يعود بفكرٍ نقدي.Returning with critical thought.

وبعقلٍ يقرأ المستقبل.With a future-reading mind.

وبقلبٍ يؤمن بسوريا.And a heart believing.

سوريا التي تستحق الأفضل.A Syria deserving the best.

سوريا التي تستحق الجمال.A Syria deserving beauty.

سوريا التي تستحق النور.A Syria deserving light.

لدينا مئة وسبعون ألف مهندس.We have one hundred seventy thousand engineers.

لكننا نملك أكثر من ذلك.Yet we possess far more.

نملك مئة وسبعين ألف فكرة.One hundred seventy thousand ideas.

ومئة وسبعين ألف حلم.One hundred seventy thousand dreams.

ومئة وسبعين ألف مشروع.One hundred seventy thousand projects.

كل مهندس مشروع وطن.Every engineer is a homeland.

كل مهندس جسرٌ محتمل.Every engineer a possible bridge.

وقبةٌ تنتظر الولادة.A dome awaiting birth.

ومدرسة تنتظر الأطفال.A school awaiting children.

ومستشفى ينتظر المرضى.A hospital awaiting healing.

أنتم الثروة الحقيقية لسوريا.You are Syria's true wealth.

ثروة لا تُسرق أبدًا.A wealth never stolen.

وثروة لا تنضب أبدًا.A wealth never exhausted.

فالمعرفة لا تُنهب.Knowledge cannot be looted.

والخيال لا يُصادر.Imagination cannot be confiscated.

والإبداع لا يُهزم.Creativity cannot be defeated.

الهندسة مسؤولية أخلاقية أيضًا.Engineering is moral responsibility too.

فالخطأ في التصميم مؤذٍ.Design mistakes can harm.

والإهمال في البناء خطر.Construction negligence is dangerous.

والمدينة بلا روح مأساة.A soulless city is tragedy.

لذلك يبني المهندس بضمير.Therefore engineers build conscientiously.

كما يكتب الشاعر قصيدته.As poets write verses.

وكما يرسم الفنان لوحته.As artists paint canvases.

بدقة ومحبة واحترام.With precision and respect.

سوريا اليوم ورشة كبرى.Syria today is a workshop.

لكنها ليست ورشة إسمنت.Not merely concrete work.

إنها ورشة للروح أيضًا.It is a workshop of spirit.

ورشة للذاكرة والخيال.Of memory and imagination.

ورشة للمستقبل القادم.Of the coming future.

نحتاج كل مهندس مخلص.We need every devoted engineer.

يحمل المعرفة والشغف.Carrying knowledge and passion.

ويؤمن بقوة التصميم.Believing in design's power.

ويؤمن بقوة الإنسان.Believing in humanity's power.

في هذا اليوم الجميل.On this special day.

لا نقول تهنئة فقط.We offer more than congratulations.

بل نقول شكرًا أيضًا.We also say thank you.

شكرًا لمن يبنون الأمل.Thank you for building hope.

شكرًا لمن يرسمون الغد.Thank you for drawing tomorrow.

شكرًا لمن يحولون الخيال.Thank you for transforming imagination.

إلى مدن وشوارع ومدارس.Into cities, streets, and schools.

كل عام وأنتم أكثر إبداعًا.May you grow more creative.

كل عام وأنتم أكثر تأثيرًا.May you grow more influential.

كل عام وأنتم أكثر نورًا.May you grow brighter.

وكل عام وأنتم تبنون.And each year keep building.

سوريا أجمل مما كانت.A more beautiful Syria.

وسوريا أعدل مما كانت.A more just Syria.

وسوريا أقرب إلى أحلامها.A Syria closer to dreams.

فأنتم مهندسو النور.For you are architects of light.

وأنتم بناة الغد.And builders of tomorrow.
