رجلُ الدولة     The Statesman

 ليست الدولةُ عددًا من البشر.

A nation is never merely a population.

وليست السلطةُ كرسيًا من خشب.

Nor is power a chair of wood.

إنها ضميرٌ يمشي بين الناس.

It is a conscience walking among its people.

وحين يتكلم رجلُ الدولة..

.When a statesman speaks...

فإن الكلماتِ لا تبحث عن التصفيق

His words do not seek applause.

بل تبحث عن العمل.

They seek action.

سمعتُ كلماتِ أردوغان.

I listened to Erdoğan's words.

فلم أسمع خطابًا سياسيًا.

I did not hear a political speech.

بل سمعتُ ميزانًا يزن الرجال.

I heard a scale weighing men.

قال:He said:

"من يشعر بالتعب... فليتنحَّ.""

Whoever is tired should step aside."

ولم تكن جملةً عابرة.

It was no passing sentence.

بل إعلانًا أن الزمن أغلى من الأعذار.

It declared that time is worth more than excuses.

هكذا يتكلم الواثق.

That is how confidence speaks.

فالضعيفُ يكثر من الوعود.

The weak multiply promises.

أما القوي...

But the strong...

فيختصر الطريق بالفعل.

Shorten the road through action.

تذكرتُ هارون الرشيد.I remembered Harun al-Rashid.

حين قال لملك الروم:When he wrote to the Byzantine ruler:

انتظر ما تراه...Wait for what you will see...

لا ما تسمعه.Not for what you hear.

لم تكن الرسالةُ حبرًا.The message was not ink.

بل جيشًا يسير.It was an army already marching.

فالكلماتُ بلا عدلٍ ضوضاء.Words without justice are noise.

والسلطةُ بلا عدلٍ خوف.Power without justice is fear.

أما العدل...But justice...

فهو اللغة الوحيدة التي يفهمها التاريخ.Is the only language history truly understands.

العدلُ لا يسكن المحاكم وحدها.Justice does not live only in courtrooms.

بل يسكن ضمير القاضي.It lives within the judge's conscience.

ويد الحاكم.The ruler's hand.

وقلب القانون.And the heart of the law.

الأممُ لا تنهض بالخطب.Nations do not rise through speeches.

بل تنهض حين يشعر الضعيف بالأمان.They rise when the weak feel safe.

ويطمئن المظلوم إلى أن الحق سيعود.When the wronged trust justice will return.

يا رب...O Lord...

لقد أنقذتَ أمةً من ليلٍ طويل.You rescued a nation from a long night.

ليلٍ ظنه الناسُ بلا فجر.A night many believed had no dawn.

وكان نورُك أقربَ إليهم من ظنونهم.Yet Your light was nearer than their doubts.

وهيأتَ لها رجلًا اسمه أحمد الشرع.And You prepared a man named Ahmad al-Sharaa.

فحمل ما عجز عنه كثيرون.He carried what many could not.

وخاض طريقًا لم يكن مفروشًا بالنصر.He walked a road never paved with victory.

بل بالصبر والإيمان.But with patience and faith.

اللهم ثبّته بالحق.O Lord, keep him firm upon truth.

وأصلح له البطانة.Grant him righteous advisors.

وأبعد عنه أهل الهوى والمصلحة.Keep away those driven by selfish desire.

وأعنْه على إقامة العدل.Help him establish justice.

فإذا قام العدل...For when justice stands...

قامت الدولة.The state stands.

وإذا قامت الدولة...And when the state stands...

اطمأن الإنسان.Humanity finds peace.

اللهم اجعل مستقبل سوريةمبنيًا على العدل قبل القوة.

O Lord, let Syria's future

be built upon justice before strength.

فالقوةُ تحرس الحدود.Strength guards borders.

أما العدل...But justice...

فيحرس الأوطان.Guards nations.

آمين.Amen.
