When cities remember, they glow

.عندما تتذكر المدن، فإنها تضيء.

Not with electricity alone

.ليس بالكهرباء وحدها.

But with memory and meaning.بل بالذاكرة والمعنى.

Syria is more than geography.سوريا أكثر من جغرافيا.

More than borders and maps.أكثر من حدود وخرائط.

It is accumulated memory.إنها ذاكرة متراكمة.

A conversation between civilizations.وحوار بين الحضارات.

A story written in stone.وحكاية مكتوبة بالحجر.

And continued by people.ويكملها البشر.

We do not seek restoration alone.نحن لا نبحث عن الترميم فقط.

We seek reinterpretation.بل نبحث عن إعادة القراءة.

We seek transformation through wisdom.ونبحث عن التحول بالحكمة.

The future needs imagination.فالمستقبل يحتاج إلى الخيال.

But imagination needs roots.لكن الخيال يحتاج إلى جذور.

The Umayyad Mosque teaches us.يعلمنا الجامع الأموي درسًا.

Identity grows through layers.أن الهوية تنمو بالتراكم.

Not through erasure.لا من خلال المحو.

Each generation contributed beauty.كل جيل أضاف جمالًا.

Without deleting another generation.دون أن يلغي الجيل السابق.

This is civilization.هذه هي الحضارة.

Traditional Damascus teaches us.وتعلمنا دمشق القديمة.

The courtyard is philosophy.أن الفناء فلسفة.

Light belongs to everyone.فالضوء حق للجميع.

Water creates calmness.والماء يصنع السكينة.

Privacy creates dignity.والخصوصية تصنع الكرامة.

Architecture shapes behavior.والعمارة تشكل السلوك.

Aleppo teaches another lesson.وتعلمنا حلب درسًا آخر.

Markets are social institutions.أن الأسواق مؤسسات اجتماعية.

Not merely commercial spaces.وليست أماكن للبيع فقط.

A city breathes through exchange.فالمدينة تتنفس بالتبادل.

Ideas, goods, and stories.للأفكار والبضائع والحكايات.

The future Syria needs flexibility.سوريا المستقبل تحتاج للمرونة.

Buildings must adapt gracefully.يجب أن تتكيف المباني بمرونة.

Schools serve multiple purposes.وتخدم المدارس أغراضًا متعددة.

Public spaces remain alive.وتبقى الفضاءات العامة حية.

Housing grows with families.وتنمو المساكن مع العائلات.

Beauty must return again.ويجب أن يعود الجمال.

Beauty is not luxury.فالجمال ليس رفاهية.

Beauty is human necessity.بل ضرورة إنسانية.

People deserve inspiring places.فالناس تستحق أماكن ملهمة.

Buildings should express belonging.وينبغي أن تعبر المباني.

About culture and identity.عن الثقافة والانتماء.

The environment is our partner.والبيئة هي شريكنا.

Not a decorative background.وليست خلفية زخرفية.

Traditional Syria understood climate.فهمت سوريا التقليدية المناخ.

Thick walls stored coolness.فخزنت الجدران البرودة.

Courtyards created shade.وصنع الفناء الظلال.

Windows guided natural light.ووجهت النوافذ الضوء.

These lessons remain valuable.وما زالت هذه الدروس.

Relevant for future generations.صالحة للأجيال القادمة.

Communities must participate actively.ويجب أن يشارك المجتمع.

In planning and construction.في التخطيط والبناء.

Cities belong to people.فالمدن ملك للناس.

Not only investors.وليست للمستثمرين فقط.

Not only institutions.وليست للمؤسسات فقط.

Belonging creates responsibility.فالانتماء يصنع المسؤولية.

Responsibility creates stability.والمسؤولية تصنع الاستقرار.

The Syria we imagine.وسوريا التي نتخيلها.

Combines heritage and innovation.تجمع التراث والابتكار.

Technology and humanity.والتقنية والإنسانية.

Tradition and creativity.والتقاليد والإبداع.

Local materials and research.والمواد المحلية والبحث العلمي.

We imagine living historic centers.نتخيل مراكز تاريخية حية.

Filled with creativity.مليئة بالإبداع.

Filled with education.ومليئة بالتعليم.

Filled with culture.ومليئة بالثقافة.

We imagine sustainable villages.ونتخيل قرى مستدامة.

Built from local knowledge.مبنية من المعرفة المحلية.

Connected to global ideas.ومتصلة بالأفكار العالمية.

We imagine new universities.ونتخيل جامعات جديدة.

Dedicated to arts.مخصصة للفنون.

Dedicated to architecture.ومخصصة للعمارة.

Dedicated to innovation.ومخصصة للابتكار.

We imagine public spaces.ونتخيل فضاءات عامة.

Designed for conversation.مصممة للحوار.

Designed for community.ومصممة للمجتمع.

Designed for dignity.ومصممة للكرامة.

The future is possible.فالمستقبل ممكن.

Not because it arrives.ليس لأنه سيأتي وحده.

But because we build it.بل لأننا نبنيه.

Stone by stone.حجرًا فوق حجر.

Idea by idea.وفكرة بعد فكرة.

Generation after generation.وجيلًا بعد جيل.

Syria is not finished.فسوريا لم تنتهِ.

Its story continues.وحكايتها مستمرة.

Its cities will evolve.ومدنها ستتطور.
