The Epic of Safouh Al-Barazi

في الأزمنة التي تتعب فيها الأمم،

In the times when nations grow weary,

تولد أسماءٌ تشبه الرايات.

Names are born that resemble flags.

أسماءٌ لا تعيش في الكتب فقط،

Names that do not live only in books,

بل تمشي بين الناس كأنها تاريخٌ حيّ.

But walk among people as living history.

كان صفوح البرازي واحدًا من تلك الأسماء.

Safouh Al-Barazi was one of those names.

رجلٌ حمل وطنه في صدره كما يحمل الفارس درعه.

A man who carried his homeland in his chest as a warrior carries his shield.

لم يكن المنفى عنده جغرافيا،

Exile for him was never geography,

بل امتحانًا لطول الإيمان

.It was a test of enduring faith.

خمسون عامًا والريح تعصف بالبيوت والذكريات،

Fifty years while the winds struck houses and memories,

لكن الراية بقيت في قلبه مرفوعة.

Yet the flag remained raised in his heart.

كان يعلم أن الأوطان قد تنحني،

He knew that nations may bend,

لكنها لا تموت.

But they never die.

وأن الرايات قد تسقط لحظةً،

And that flags may fall for a moment,

لكنها تعود لتنهض مع أصحابها.

But they rise again with those who carry them.

لهذا لم تكن حكاية صفوح البرازي سيرة رجلٍ فقط،

That is why the story of Safouh Al-Barazi is not merely the biography of a man,

بل كانت سيرة علمٍ لم ينكس.

It is the story of a flag that never surrendered.

سيرة ذاكرةٍ لم تنطفئ.

A memory that never faded.

وسيرة شعبٍ يكتب تاريخه بالصبر.

And the story of a people who write history with patience.

هذه الملحمة ليست نصًا أدبيًا فحسب،

This epic is not merely a literary text,

بل شهادة زمن

.It is a testimony of time.

وشاهدًا على أن الكرامة قد تغيب،

A witness that dignity may disappear,

لكنها لا تضيع.

But it is never lost.

ومن بين رماد السنوات،

And from the ashes of years,

ينهض العلم من جديد.

The flag rises again.

كأن التاريخ نفسه يقف ليقول:

As if history itself stands and declares:

إن الرايات التي تُحمل بالكرامة

Flags carried with dignity

تبقى أطول من الأعمار.

Outlive the lives of those who bear them.
