من قال هذه الكلمات أول مرة؟

Who first spoke these words?

ليس أستاذاً في جامعة.Not a university professor.

ولا فيلسوفاً من أثينا.Nor a philosopher from Athens.

ولا عالماً من علماء المختبرات الحديثة.Nor a scientist from modern laboratories.

بل هو الله سبحانه وتعالى.Rather, it was God Almighty.

حين أرسل جبريل عليه السلام.When He sent the Angel Gabriel.

إلى النبي محمد ﷺ.To Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

في غار حراء قرب مكة.In the Cave of Hira near Mecca.

في ليلةٍ غيّرت مجرى التاريخ.On a night that changed the course of history.

هناك بدأت القصة.There the story began.

لا بسيفٍ ولا بجيش.Not with a sword or an army.

ولا بقصرٍ ولا بعرش.Nor with a palace or a throne.

بل بكلمة.But with a word.

كلمةٍ واحدة.A single word.

«اقرأ».“Read.”

ومن تلك اللحظة.From that moment.

انطلقت حضارةٌ امتدت.A civilization emerged.

من الجزيرة العربية.From the Arabian Peninsula.

إلى دمشق وبغداد.To Damascus and Baghdad.

ثم إلى قرطبة وسمرقند.Then to Cordoba and Samarkand.

وحملت معها الكتب والمكتبات.Carrying books and libraries.

والفلك والطب والهندسة.Astronomy, medicine, and engineering.

والفلسفة والفنون.Philosophy and the arts.

ولذلك.Therefore.

حين تُتلى هذه الآيات.When these verses are recited.

في واحدةٍ من أعظم جامعات العالم.At one of the world's greatest universities.

فإن المشهد يتجاوز حدود الاحتفال.The moment transcends the ceremony itself.

ليصبح حواراً بين زمنين.Becoming a dialogue between two eras.

وبين رؤيتين للمعرفة.And between two visions of knowledge.

وبين أول كلمةٍ في الوحي.Between the first word of Revelation.

وآخر شهادةٍ يحملها خريج.And the latest diploma held by a graduate.

ومن هنا تبدأ هذه الملحمة.And from here, this epic begins.

في السابع والعشرين من ايار 2026، ارتفع صوت القرآن في هارفارد.On May 27, 2026, the voice of the Qur’an rose within Harvard.

ليس كضيفٍ عابرٍ بين الحشود.Not as a passing guest among the crowds.

بل كفكرةٍ جاءت من عمق التاريخ.But as an idea emerging from the depths of history.

وقف الخريجون بثيابهم الأكاديمية.Graduates stood in their academic robes.

وحملت الأيدي شهادات سنواتٍ طويلة.Their hands carried the rewards of many years.

وفي تلك اللحظة الفريدة،And in that unique moment,

انطلقت الكلمات الأولى من الوحي.The first words of Revelation were recited.

﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ﴾“Read in the name of your Lord who created.”

فاهتزّت المسافة بين مكة وبوسطن.The distance between Mecca and Boston seemed to tremble.

وبين غار حراء وقاعات الجامعة.Between the Cave of Hira and university halls.

قبل أربعة عشر قرناً،Fourteen centuries ago,

كان رجلٌ أمّيٌّ يتلقى أول رسالةٍ من السماء.An unlettered man received the first message from heaven.

وفي القرن الحادي والعشرين،And in the twenty-first century,

تُتلى الكلمات نفسها في أعرق الجامعات العالمية.The same words are recited at one of the world's most prestigious universities.

كأن الزمن يرسم دائرةً كاملة.As if time itself had drawn a perfect circle.

تبدأ من الصحراء.Beginning in the desert.

وتصل إلى مكتبات العالم الكبرى.And reaching the greatest libraries of the world.

لم تبدأ الرسالة بكلمة «سلطة».The message did not begin with the word “power.”

ولم تبدأ بكلمة «ثروة».Nor did it begin with the word “wealth.”

ولم تبدأ بكلمة «حرب».Nor did it begin with the word “war.”

بل بدأت بكلمة واحدة.It began with a single word.

«اقرأ».“Read.”

كأن السماء أرادت أن تقول للبشرية:As if heaven wished to tell humanity:

إن المعرفة طريق الكرامة.Knowledge is the path to dignity.

وإن الجهل ليس قدراً أبدياً.Ignorance is not an eternal destiny.

وإن العقل هديةٌ إلهية.And reason is a divine gift.

وحين ترددت الآية:And when the verse echoed:

﴿الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ﴾“Who taught by the pen.”

بدت وكأنها كُتبت خصيصاً لهذا الاحتفال.It seemed written specifically for this ceremony.

فالجامعة تحتفي بالقلم.For the university celebrates the pen.

والباحث يعيش بالقلم.The scholar lives through the pen.

والحضارات تُبنى بالقلم.Civilizations are built by the pen.

والإنسان يرتقي بالقلم.Humanity rises through the pen.

لم يكن المشهد انتصاراً لدينٍ على دين.The scene was not a victory of one religion over another.

ولا ثقافةٍ على ثقافة.Nor one culture over another.

بل انتصاراً لفكرةٍ عظيمة.Rather, it was a triumph of a great idea.

أن العلم لغةٌ عالمية.That knowledge is a universal language.

وأن الحكمة لا تعرف الحدود.And wisdom knows no borders.

وأن القلوب تستطيع اللقاء.And hearts can still meet.

حين يجتمع الاحترام مع المعرفة.When respect joins hands with learning.

في تلك اللحظة،In that moment,

كانت هارفارد تستمع.Harvard was listening.

وكان التاريخ يتأمل.History was reflecting.

وكان القرآن يعبر القارات.And the Qur’an was crossing continents.

كما عبر القرون من قبل.Just as it had crossed centuries before.

من مكة إلى المدينة.From Mecca to Medina.

ومن دمشق إلى قرطبة.From Damascus to Cordoba.

ومن بغداد إلى سمرقند.From Baghdad to Samarkand.

ومن الأندلس إلى العالم.From Andalusia to the world.

يا لها من مفارقةٍ جميلة.What a beautiful paradox.

أول كلمةٍ في الإسلام هي «اقرأ».The first word in Islam is “Read.”

وأعظم الجامعات تقوم على القراءة.And the greatest universities stand upon reading.

أول معجزةٍ حضاريةٍ كانت كتاباً.The first civilizational miracle was a book.

وأكبر إنجازٍ أكاديميٍّ يبدأ بكتاب.And every academic achievement begins with a book.

وهكذا،And thus,

بين نور الوحي ونور المعرفة،Between the light of Revelation and the light of knowledge,

وقف الإنسان من جديد.Humanity stood once again.

يحمل شهادةً في يده.Holding a diploma in one hand.

وحلماً في قلبه.And a dream in the heart.

وكلمةً خالدةً فوق رأسه.With an eternal word above it.

«اقرأ».

“Read.”

فربما كانت أعظم رسالةٍ للبشرية كلها:For perhaps the greatest message to all humanity is this:

أن الطريق إلى المستقبل يبدأ من صفحة.That the road to the future begins with a page.

وأن الصفحة تبدأ بكلمة.And every page begins with a word.

وأن الكلمة الأولى كانت،And that first word was,

وستبقى دائماً:

And shall forever remain:

«اقرأ».

“Read.”
