سقفٌ من خشبٍ قديم…
A ceiling of aged wood…
يحمل ذاكرة الغابة… Carrying the memory of the forest…
وعروق الزمن…
And the veins of time…
جدرانٌ بيضاء…
White walls…
ليست فارغة…
Not empty…
بل ممتلئة بالضوء…
But filled with light…
مدفأةٌ في القلب…
A fireplace at the heart…
كأنها قلبٌ ينبض ناراً…
Like a heart beating fire…
تجمع البرد… وتحوّله إلى حكاية…
Gathering the cold… turning it into a story…
طاولةٌ بسيطة…
A simple table…
لكنها تعرف أكثر مما تقول…
But it knows more than it says…
حملت كتباً… وأكواباً… ويدين متعبتين…
It carried books… cups… and tired hands…
كرسيٌ صامت…
A silent chair…
ينتظر جسداً… لا ليجلس…
Waiting for a body… not just to sit…
بل ليهدأ…
But to rest…
هنا…
Here…
لا يوجد استعراض…
There is no display…
لا يوجد ضجيج…
No noise…
فقط حياة…
Only life…
تمشي حافيةً على الأرض…
Walking barefoot on the ground…
الخشب لا يكذب…
Wood does not lie…
الحجر لا يمثل…
Stone does not pretend…
والنور…
And light…
لا يحتاج إذناً ليدخل…
Needs no permission to enter…
هذا البيت…
This house…
لا يطلب إعجابك…
Does not ask for your admiration…
بل يطلب منك شيئاً أخطر…
But asks something more dangerous…
أن تبطئ…
To slow down…
أن تشعر…
To feel…
أن تعود…
To return…
أن تعود إلى نفسك…
To return to yourself…
قبل أن تعود إلى أي مكان…
Before returning to any place…

أن البيت ليس جدراناً…
That a house is not walls…
بل حالة…
But a state…
ليس سقفاً…
